King has done some growing in recent years, as getting bombarded with chemical cocktails is apt to do. He now stands at 8’8” when standing upright and weighs around 520lbs. Due to the rapid nature of his morphing he has stretch marks covering the majority of his body, which thankfully reddish brown, fur-like, hair covering the majority of his body, his face and chest area being less covered in the stuff. His eyes are brown and usually crinkled in a grin and he’s generally only wearing comfy sweat shorts if he can get by with it. Finding shirts in his size is now generally a very difficult thing to do given the massive, gorilla-like length and width of his arms. If he has to walk any sort of great length he prefers to ambulate on all fours. Given his past in martial arts he was fit before the morph, the addition of slaking genetics has made him a paragon of physical strength compared to where he was as a human.
His increased size does come with drawbacks though, his endurance has suffered greatly and he requires frequent rest when performing prolonged labor. This, of course, sits just fine with him though.

He spends a good deal of time practicing martial arts with his Pokémon, usually making a joke about how he ‘just can’t kick right with these stubby legs’ and laughing about it. He is a good friend and will do everything within his power to protect them and see them succeed in their endeavors, so long as it isn’t TOO much work. He is an excellent cook, a skill he’s been picking up since his change, often cooking large portions of food, even for someone his size, eating 95% of it, and leaving the dishes to be done later. Later, of course, being when they have moldered enough to bother him. If someone, for whatever unearthly reason, takes issue with King, he takes it right back and gives it back 10-fold. He will make it his mission to ruin that poor soul and feel good doing it… well, until nap time anyways. Then he’s over it. |
Born and raised in Anrui, King took up martial arts as soon as he was able to. He felt confident in the ring and he learned to carry that confidence to other aspects of his life. He was generally well liked in school, if a bit of a cut up and joker. He joined Plasma as soon as he was able to at 16 to be able to train pokemon legally and was assigned a riolu, who became a very beneficial training partner in addition to tool in King’s Plasma tasks. King had an upstanding work ethic and was known to be a rigorous and disciplined man, that combined with his physical prowess is what drove Plasma to approach him about becoming a morph. They reasoned his disciplined mind would be a suitable juxtaposition to a slakings innate laziness. Cut the natural flaw of the Pokémon with human traits. He agreed and, unknowingly, ended his life as he knew it. The pain was near unbearable and the living conditions were deplorable, he was shackled like a prisoner when a scientist wasn’t present and drugged when one was. They claimed this was because of experiences with past morphs becoming needlessly violent.
He emerged from the process a changed entity, neither a man, or a Pokémon, but a happy middle ground of both. He was then assigned the task of patrolling Anrui’s wilderness, in particular its lush jungles for Resistance activity.

MISCELLANEOUS

Lua works as a living ‘radar’ on King’s missions. Able to sense aura’s nearby she aids in finding people and Pokémon that should not be about. During their off time, she acts as a training partner for King. She is encouraging of his technique, even if she does occasionally admonish him for taking it easy on her.

Rager came into King's care as a mankey and has been with him since. They earned their name when they pricked their finger trying to peel a chestnut and threw it through a window. Their task on King's team is to beat the crap out of things Lua detects .

King has mixed feelings on Tazer. It was assigned to him to help him with his occasional fits of sloth with a searing and severe jolt back to reality. The bug seems to take their work very seriously and derives some sick pleasure from it.
