Lele gives an exaggerated and nonchalant shrug, “Well, nothing particularly bad has happened so far and you’re the only person I’ve seen out here. So, unless you’re gonna try and hurt me idk what I have to worry about. Ansen didn’t look that far away on the map anyway. It'll be fiiiine."

She listens to the, still nameless, man talk and blinks a few times, “So basically you’re a hobo that likes to start fights.” Lele nods in approval, “Fuggin nice. Sounds fun as hell.” She pauses a moment and looks up at him, “So long as you’re not gonna do something like jump me when I least suspect it. You’d probably kick my ass too hard and child abuse is never cool.” The young girl shrugs, “Not like I could really stop you though if you tried. So why are you headed to Ans-yaaaa!” The ground gives way beneath her and she slides down a small hollow.

She hastily checks the egg in her pack for damage while spitting out dirt. “Ptah! That was fun! LMAO. This hole looks Pokémon made n shit. Like a nest maybe? Idk about this shit, none of the eggs look the same. Do Pokémon have fuggin orgies?"

As she talks she grabs one of the eggs and puts it in her pack next to the other, making sure to pad it out with clothing to keep it from getting too harmed.

Hey, Zeus Ifirin Akiyama ! I definitely didn't find evidence of egg smuggling.

"Oh no- I have a home. I just like to wander- And no, I wouldn't hurt a child." Even if they were trying to hurt them, they were small and easy to toss around. But no, Zeus's days of being indiscriminate are over. He might even question if he's grown too soft as a look of worry flashes over his face and he reaches out to snatch the falling kid- only to find she's stopped right where some eggs were buried. Worry stays on his face only for a second longer before realizing that that Gible egg... didn't look like any others in the nest. Good, no angry Garchomp to battle, hopefully. "Looks like stolen eggs, actually." Zeus sighs through his nose, inspecting the species of the other Pokemon within. Reaching in, he grabs a weirdly colored egg, squinting at it to try and tell it apart. It was green with some white on top. Did someone manage to get a Capsakid past border control? The environment here was bad enough, but there wasn't shit he could so besides accept it. Sighing, he looked back to Luxray, who sighed back. Grabbing a ball hidden away on his person, he let out an Arcanine who did a biiiiiig stretch before shaking out his mane and looking at the two humans in front of him. On his side were some basic satchels that seemed to be holding a few items. Zeus walked over to put the egg into the more empty looking bag and turned back to the child. "Now about Ansen. It's just on the way to... well everything else. Home is on the opposite side of the island anyways, and there's trouble to make in other places besides Hyo."

“Huh? Stolen eggs? Who’d want to steal eggs?” Lele asks, zipping up her backpack after securing her newly acquired egg.  “Is there some sort of omelet mafia I should know about?” She climbs back out of the hole, pulling her pack out behind her. “What kind of egg is that one? Looks spicy.” She looks back into the ‘nest’ “What are we going to do about the others? They don’t look too good. I think I broke some falling down there.”

“OOH BIG DOGGO! WHAT A BIG STREEEETCH!” She moves to try and pet the good boy. Lele then pauses for a moment, “Wait, if you have all these Pokémon, are you a part of Plasma? You don’t feel like a grunt though. But you aren’t trying to kill me like I’ve been told all the Resistance people would be. I’m really confused about this.”

Lele smirks, “Oh, not a hobo then. That’s way less cool then. What’s got you ‘making trouble’ so far from home? Must be super important.”

“Ansen…hmmmm” Lele looks like she’s playing a hard game of ‘Connect the Dots’ in her head. “Oh! I’ve heard of that place! They’re supposed to have some type of kick ass dance party going on over there. Kinda wanna go. Seems worth checking out I think tbh, even if they do play dubstep.” She pulls out her phone to try and pull up a map. “Fuggin Damnit, no signal. It’s uhhh… that way, right?” She points the direction they were going before. "Wait, what's your name again? Kinda bad with that shit imo tbh fam. Hope you're not mad at me for asking."

Zeus snorted at the egg mafia comment, and left it to sit. "My name is Zeus... we haven't exchanged names yet." It'd be funnier if she got to sit there and stew on whether or not there was an organization revolving around stealing eggs and cooking them. She was easily distracted though, and moved off to go pet Asahi, who'd sit there and let it happen while Zeus inspected the carnage. "We leave them for the carnivores. Sucks yes but that's just how it goes sometimes." "And no, I'm not Plasma. I used to be- now I just cause trouble for them." He chuckled out, admitting to his betrayal to the team. "Infinitely more amusing that way. Though I don't suggest it little one." All of his own chuckling at her rambling was cut short by Chin-chi's change in demeanor. It was incredibly subtle but Zeus picked up on the way his eyes fixated in one direction and his tail stilled. Zeus looked towards the direction he was staring in once he lowered into a stalking position. "Stay by my Arcanine little one. Chin-chi sees something." It started off as a large hunk of metal slamming down over the brush, a smaller pink creature popping into the air and using the hammer as a bridge through the dense foliage. She looked angry and confused as she got her bearings on the new spot, looking to the two humans and large Pokemon with them. A Tinkaton, definitely not native to Anrui- and if the news headlines were anything to go by, recently smuggled in. She seemed equally interested in the big strong trainer staring her down, and absolutely smashing everything around her- if anything, she looked like a Pokemon that just lost her young ones.

Leleia looks up at Zeus, “Oh shit. My name is Leleia then. Damn, could have sworn we’d have given each other our names. That’s like, fuggin, introductions 101. Can't believe I'd forget something so basic.” Looking back down at the eggs they were leaving behind, none of them looked particularly healthy anyway, the only other egg in that group that looked ‘alive’ had already been grabbed. “Yeah, sometimes scrambled eggs is just the way to go."

She gives an impressed look to Zeus, “No way. I thought Plasma was one of those gangs you either died for or died in. I’ve never heard of someone in Plasma getting away. You must’ve been REALLY annoying to pull off a stunt like that. And now you’re out there rubbing salt in the wound. What a mad lad you are. You gotta teach me.”

Lele moves herself under the large, warm, fluffy, soft, nice, doggo before Zeus even finishes his sentence. She didn’t have to be told twice, barely even told once here. She looked markedly uneasy by the heavy steel sounds approaching them. “Oh shit, that hammer bitch is back. Look out, those things are about as mean as their hammer is big. Really don’t like it when you talk to their kids either. They’ll totally follow you if you do.”

Zeus suddenly took on a much more hostile and defensive posture, switching from lax and 'whatever man' to a guy that looks like he's about to jump over a fence and beat someone's ass. He did keep that one arm tucked away inside of his hoodie pocket though, and used his free hand to motion forward. Without verbal prompting, Chin-chi shot out of his sitting position and onto the field between the Tinkaton and Zeus. "What do you mean talk to their kids and follow you? This one is supposed to have Tinkatink with her?" That made fighting her way more complicated than it had to be. Oh well, with Chin-chi out on the field, the icy cold glare sent the Tinkaton's way made her wary- not to mention the ear splitting roar the Luxray let out towards her. She flinched and suddenly looked a little unsure of fighting the big cat flicking his tail. As if that wasn't intimidating enough, he also snatched an orb Zeus threw forward, willingly taking on a burn that covered parts of his body, only serving to piss the cat off more. "Fine- lets make this quick. Chin-chi! You know what to do." On that command, Chin-chi let out an electric pulse from his fur, causing the field to take on a strong static charge- hell you could even see electricity arcing in some places. "Thunder Fang!" The Tinkaton's day also grew worse. She looked around the electrified field and did her best to gather her scattered self and prepare for the charged chomp coming her way- but only let out a startled cry as Chin-chi went straight for the chest, chomping down and even lifting up the now KO'd Tinkaton. The heavy hammer fell to the ground and once Chin-chi was sure that she was knocked out- he dropped her as well, and shook off his mane. The battle was already over and he wasn't about this sitting around, burned life. Like a well oiled machine, he picked the orb up on his way back to his master, bouncing lightly as he trot the rest of the way back with it and got met with a nice, cooling mist from a burn heal. Zeus bagged the Flame Orb again and looked over his shoulder to Leleia while he took care of his large cat's burns. "So- Please explain to me how you managed to anger this one? Tinkaton usually don't have beef with anything other than Corviknight." While he waited for a response from Leleia, he got up and walked over to the unconscious Tinkaton. Chin-chi shook his mane off and continued laying on the ground, watching his master inspect the Pokemon before putting her into a ball. I was gonna battle it but Chin-chi crit the thunder fang and Oh-Kod...

‘Oh man, a huge personality shift. Is this guy some kind of fuggin closet psychopath like Brent is?’ Zeus didn’t feel quite the same as that though. Lele couldn’t quite put her finger on it though, just an intuitive hunch. “No, their kid wan-” She stopped her explanation short as the luxray named Chin-chi let out an ear-piercing roar and Zeus tossed a flaming orb at them, giving them a nasty looking burn.

Lele felt her, and the arcanine’s, hair standing on end as electricity crackles across the battlefield. She looks up at the arcanine and gently pats their side as the fight starts. In the brief moment she looked away, the luxray struck, causing Lele to let out a surprised ‘eep’ and find herself, somehow, in a tree above the conflict. She was expecting a fight, and some degree of noise from it, but that degree of viciousness must’ve made her panic and scramble up a tree.

Sliding down the tree, she pats herself off and looks mildly confused as she answers Zeus. “Well, I don’t know why she’s mad at me. I saw her taking one of her kids little metal clubs away. I thought that wasn’t exactly fair, so I brought some metal scraps to the poor little thing and it started making another. I don’t think the, you called it a tinkaton right? I don’t think they liked me doing that. Anyway, their kid grabbed onto me and I didn't know what to do about something carrying a hammer as big as I am coming at me like that so I started running."

Hair standing back on end as she comes back into contact with the electrified ground, she tilts her head to the side and looks over at the luxray, “So why’d you burn Chin-chi anyways? Seems like a mean thing to do to your own Pokémon, but you don’t strike me as the kind of person to just do mean things without reason."

Definitely didn't just teleport into a tree because of a jump scare, that'd be a ridiculous thing to do.

Zeus did a small double take when he saw her in the tree, but didn't question it. Maybe something spooked her but Asahi did seem some what confused at her suddenly being missing from under his mane. "Sadly I don't know too much about Tinkaton to be able to tell what exactly happened. But I do have a fairy loving friend over seas who might be able to fill me in on this one. Either way- you're safe now." He picked up the ball, putting it in his pocket. Now as for the burn. "Ah yes- Chin-chi likes it when he's burned. You see he has Guts instead of Rivalry yes? So if he takes on a status, it makes him stronger. He likes crushing our enemy's spirits." He knelt down and pet his Luxray, letting Asahi move over to the tree to stand on his hind legs and put his paws on it, offering a way for Lele to climb down, big bushy tail wagging.

Lele tries to hold back laughter as she struggles to get her hair to lay back down from the building static. “That’s... a fun way to phrase that, I’m hoping they’re just someone who is educated on fairy type Pokémon and not…. an actual fairy lover. Although if they’re a useful source of info I suppose either will do in a pinch.”

This conversation just took another left turn, “Wait, so, Chin-chi is a sadomasochist? That’d help explain all the scars and why they were so eager to fight, I guess. But why heal the burn if they like it?” Lele reaches out to pet the arcanine and winds up zapping herself from the static. “Ow! Sorry, doggo."

After she jumps from the shock, her backpack does a small jump of its own followed by a loud cracking sound. “Oh, well this is awkward.” She opens up her backpack to reveal a Pokémon egg thrashing about, with small flames licking out from the cracks, “I guess I better get this fuggin fire hazard away from the rest of my stuff.” Grabbing the blanket the egg is wrapped in, she gently removes it from the pack and places it on the ground. After thrashing about a bit more, the larvesta within the egg manages to emerge completely. “Aww, look at the good little yellow heliobug! Isn’t she the cutest?” The newly hatched larvesta makes a happy noise as Lele speaks before turning and starting to munch on the warm, and smoking, blanket that was surrounding her former home.

“Aww man, that’s not good, that’s my only blanket. Guess I’ll have to find another one soon and hope it doesn’t get too much colder… this one is way too on fire and being eaten to be good anymore.”

Zeus snorted at the sadomasochist comment and shook his head. He just outright chose to ignore the fairy lover comment. He had no idea how to feed into that to a young teen that he hardly knew without being a shitlord. "No no- Sadist I could believe though. He'll take on anything if it means he can hit something harder." Zeus watched as eggs hatched and raised his eyebrow. "Well thankfully the winters of a tropical island are pretty forgiving, you shouldn't have to worry too much. As for the Larvesta- that's a rare find- How did you stumble across that? Well actually. Don't tell me." On that comment, he turned and looked around to the smugglers nest she had fallen right into. "Training is illegal little one. You should watch who you stick around with when you have an egg in your bag. Thankfully- I could care less." He shrugged, petting his Luxray while Asahi leaned forward to sniff at the new Larvesta, unbothered by the minor static shock from the kid.
