Jae is passionate about his work, typically trusting Malachi to do their own job in tandem with their own. He spends a considerable amount of time with the morph he works with as well, learning the ins and outs of the personality of the creature he helped create. The issue is that he pushed and still will push himself to exhaustion, and was notorious for getting too close to Malachi during his morphing process, barely ducking out of the way, or irritating the already agitated morph into charging the glass. When it comes to getting the job done, he's makes a good support and advocate for the morph he monitors, making sure Malachi himself doesn't sustain major injuries or go missing while deep, deep under the ocean surface.

BACKGROUND

Jae has always had an odd pull towards the water. He's a pretty strong swimmer, could always fight the currents, as well as learning while young how to get out of a riptide. He was always around water types and his draw towards everything water related never dwindled.

Meaning that as soon as he could, he went off to become a marine biologist. Studying Pokemon and water type conservation were just the things he was passionate about and Anrui's water ways were always in a way of struggling, even before the war. Pollution from Hyo harmed everything around it and originally, he set out to work on that.

But as he worked with Plasma, he grew in their ranks. His work keeping water ways clear, working with water types and doctoring up their pokemon eventually took him down a rabbit hole. A rabbit hole that wound up with him learning about the attempts at making aquatic Pokemon morphs for team plasma.

They were about to start attempts at making a Sharpedo morph and his expertise was right up that field.

Though they began to doubt him when he failed 7 attempts. Each one of the creatures passing on in a horrific manner until one of them finally showed up. A spicy, freshly graduated boy that had lost everything and suffered a serious injury that harmed his ability to swim.

It was do or die with the boy named Malachi and somehow- he made it work. There were a few times he was almost lost, but in the end, he made it out alive and Jae was appointed as his handler. For a while, should any other handler have tried to arise to assist with malachi and his missions, it was up to Jae... and many handlers that tried failed spectacularly, leaving him as the only one capable of handling Malachi.

His job is constantly working him. From sleeping in the same building as the morph, making sure Malachi had enough food, had an advocate while he was on his missions, someone who knew how to monitor his vitals and check his blood. Hell just being able to handle Malachi's vicious, swift-to-anger nature and reign him in as well as teach him to control it better? It was all on Jae to do so within the range the Sharpedo nature in him allowed.

The project he wound up being hired for now became his new job.
