Oh fudge. It was going down. As Allie tensed at Rei's words, Avery scrambled around to stand beside her, looking wary and a little confused. Alex, the more sensitive of the duo, was already backing away. Allie turned to face Rei fully, using the entirety of her back to block Rei's view of Alex and vice versa. She pondered over each of the options she was given.

Option 2 was obviously not viable. Allie may not be smart, but she had an idea of how bias and stereotypes worked. If she joined Plasma, what hope would she have of hearing the other side's story?

Option 1 was not an option either. Rei could be very strong, or she could be a total beginner trying to look strong. Either way, no chance that Allie could beat her, since she was untrained at best even for a beginner. Anyways, Alex disliked fighting, so her fighting force would be down to only Avery at best. No, she was not going to fight.

That left option 3. Honestly, Allie did not like this either. Joining Plasma was bad for gaining knowledge on the Resistance, and this would have the same effect. And anyways, what little information she had could not be good enough.

If all given options were unviable, then Allie would have to make new options. [break][break]
She could run-if she returned her friends to their balls, she could try bolting down the road. Rei was a lot shorter, so hopefully she was not as athletic, and Allie was fairly confident in her sprinting speed and stamina. Look, skipping around all the time did have its benefits! [break][break]
With her mind made up, Allie pulled out her pokeballs, recalling both Avery and Alex, before making a run for it down the slope.

She had made this so easy, why were they trying to run? She’d even offered them amnesty for a bit of information! At least Allie had done the courtesy of returning her pokemon to their balls making it clear she didn’t want to fight. Rei needed that information though; she couldn’t let this just slip away. Letting out an exasperated sigh Rei grabs the ball for her shuckle. “Fine, I tried making this easy.”

Throwing the ball just ahead of the running woman, the shuckle gets released, a somewhat dull and confused expression on their face. “Bloo, give her a hug with wrap. Be gentle, we don’t want her too hurt.” The shuckle nods, way more than is necessary, while leaping at Allies legs and attempting to wrap them with their own. If successful it would try their best to hold her still without undue discomfort.

As this was happening, Rei, catching the returning pokeball, debates about calling this in to the Watchtower but thinks better of it. No need to let them know until she had something to report. It would look much better if she could handle this herself. 


Assuming the shuckle was successful in their attempt, she approaches Allie, “I’d much prefer we keep this civil. Don’t make this harder than it has to be. Please, if you’d just tell me what I need to know you can leave; no more trouble.”

She didn’t want to know what the interrogators would do if they got a hold of someone with any information on a Resistance structure that could just be walked into. Probably have some psychic type Pokémon scramble their mind trying to dig it out. She didn't want that for this confused, but otherwise innocent enough, traveler.

Daxton was doing fine... ish. He was out here, hunting for some fucking grunt that was on the loose and needed his ass beat as a firm reminder that he was on the wrong side. He cracked his knuckles without touching them, ground his teeth and did everything in his power to stay calm. It was irritating. The heat was getting annoying and the closer he got towards that wretched watchtower, the more he heard voices. He couldn't easily ignore a confrontation, but at hearing the words 'keep this civil', a switch flipped in his head. Thresh, his Jangmo-o rattled in annoyance, picking up on the tension as his master decided to start walking towards where the voices were coming from, just in time to see a Shuckle be sent to wrap someone. Of all the shit, a Shuckle. He'd seen faster Goomy on dry land. "Thresh! Go!" Daxton shouted, pointing for Thresh to charge forward and take the Shuckle for the person while Daxton ran towards Allie. "Stop running before you fall down a slope and break your fucking leg- What the hell is going on here?" Whether or not Allie listened to the large, aggressive, man coming from the trees or kept on running wasn't his problem yet. If he had to, he'd send out Alpha to help her.

The next few seconds went by too fast for Allie to register. Rei called out something, which Allie didn't focus on, only speeding up even more. The next moment, a pokeball opened in front of her, causing a blue pokemon-wait no, a yellow pokemon with a blue shell-to pop out, legs reaching out for Allie's. The girl's starting speed combined with the acceleration from running down a slope made it near-impossible to stop without falling over, so she mentally braced for impact. [break][break]
The next moment, someone else yelled, and a silver-and-gold dragon (?) sprang forward, tackling the Shuckle away. The next moment, a very tall-Almost 2 meters, what in the world?-person approached, yelling to know what was going on. [break][break]
She didn't know which side this person was on, but at this point, that was the least of her worries. They did save her, after all. "'M an illegal trainer." She explained, not like there was any point hiding it since her pokeballs were still in her hands. "Met Plasma member." She was panting a little already from the mad dash, making it hard to form complete sentences. [break][break]
Awkwardly, she started to dodge around the man, pausing to glance back and see what Rei was doing.

By Moltres’ flaming wings! This had turned to shit really fast. Bloo had been stopped by… Rei didn’t know, looked like a dragon of some kind. And the trainer that had sent them out… another giant of a man. Wait a second, not just any giant of a man. She recognized this one. She’d seen him in the news... and on Plasma’s wanted list! This guy had attacked the zoo in Cain by himself! This would be huge if she could take him in. But, if he could do that, she knew she’d be no match for him, and, given Allie’s panted utterances, he’d likely resort to harsh violence as soon as possible.

No, this was not the time for heroics. This was time to 'use the brown pants' so she could fight tomorrow. Recalling Bloo to her ball she throws out Wisp, the litwick. “It's time to leave, please, give us some cover with haze.” she beseeched the litwick quietly. Wisp, looking slightly dejected for being denied a meal of life energy, complies. A thick black smoke gushes from the candle’s mouth, quickly filling the area and reducing visibility. 


While Wisp is creating the haze that would cover their escape, she decides it’s time to send that message to the Watchtower. ‘Wanted criminal Daxton spotted on path East of Watchtower. Requesting aid. Smoke cloud marks location.’

Once the cloud was thick enough, she recalled litwick to his ball and made a break for it. It was time to see how much of her time on the track in high school had stuck with her.

Daxton's eyes fixated on Rei immediately upon hearing that this person stated they're illegal and they met a Plasma member. Luckily for Rei though, the Haze covered her escape and he wasn't going to bolt after her. As tempting as it was to dig into the ground and charge her down, it'd be pointless. Instead, he turned to the girl again. He felt scar tissue under his eye move as he squinted at the girl. "Thresh. Come the fuck here." He called to the Jangmo-o, who was going to more than happily dash through the fog to go bite the shit out of the other person. Instead though, the small dragon threw a tantrum and came to his side. "Why are you all the way out here- Jeez. Whatever. Where were you going? Lets get a move on before they decide to show back up with reinforcements." Running probably wasn't great for the egg on his back too but- The damn egg wasn't going to hatch itself if he kept neglecting to take it on missions with him. So it'd just have to get over it.

Woah woah woah. So she could conclude that this person was definitely not Plasma. And probably not on good terms with them either, considering Rei had just run off. So she could trust him for now, she supposed. [break][break]
"I was just going along the route. Wherever it led to." Allie explained. She did have a map now, but she liked the feeling of not knowing where she was going. In hindsight, she probably should have known better than to run around randomly in a warring region. Not like she's ever been in a war, of course, but still...Should probably have been more careful. [break][break]
"Sorry for the trouble!" She added, following Daxton. "I didn't think I'd end up getting into trouble."

"Do you even have an adequate team to protect yourself with? The wild pokemon in this region are... irritable. Along with the fact that fuckers can't leave them alone so they're heavily tampered." He groused, walking along, dirt crunching under his boot while his Jangmo-o trotted along next to him. Daxton shook his head, ruffled his hair and muttered something under his breath. "She didn't get any of your Pokemon, did she, kid?" If she did well- there wasn't much he could do about it other than report yet another pesky Plasma member description that's actively snatching Pokemon off people in the routes. Alot of them were doing that but this girl following behind him seemed relatively defenseless as well... though that meant nothing to power-seeking tyrants in a warzone. He adjusted his satchel with the egg and considered his extra water bottle. He'd have to find and make a stop in Katsu soon anyways. "Need any water? It's fucking hot out here." Not as horrible as his hometown but still pretty toasty.

"...No." That was unfortunately true. While Allie did have a few rare candies, she had yet to use them, and her friends were at levels 5 and 6 respectively, still not yet able to actually fight anyone and win. "She didn't. They're still with me." Allie nodded towards the two pokeballs in her hands. She hadn't put them away yet, though she probably should. With that thought, she nudged her bag open to drop them in. [break][break]
When the man offered a drink, Allie blinked in surprise. She hadn't really taken notice of how thirsty she was until now, though granted adrenaline tended to make people ignore such needs. "Oh! Sure."

Daxton passed the... very naïve seeming girl the extra water bottle, carrying forward while his Jangmo-o trot even further ahead. The egg on his back was thankfully still while he considered the person he had apparently just saved from getting her Pokemon snatched by Plasma. Or worse... "Well-" He let out a huff, shaking his head. There wasn't saving some people but still. "I'm guessing you learned quite a bit today, yeah? Keep those two safe." He nodded his head without looking, referencing the Pokemon she had been holding in her hands. "And they'll eventually be able to keep you safe." He took a moment to walk quietly, the air around him hostile but not exactly towards her. "Know anything about fighting?"
