An obnoxious nightmare of a city where everything was loud, everything smelled like shit and the city was bad all throughout. Lots of places around the world were shit, yes, but Hyo had a way of being a sewer system in said world of shit. He grumbled to himself, blue eyes narrowed in barely contained rage as he looked around the core of the city's back alleys. He wasn't walking yet, he was taking a break, Frostbite tapping the ground with her flippers in barely contained anxiety while he held an egg in one arm. This kind of shit got old quick.

Since her encounter with Bean the Wooper, Ashley's day had honestly been rather uneventful. She hadn't really found anything else of interest around the harbour area, not that she's spent too much time looking. As far as she was aware, no one had really paid much attention to her either as she finally made her way into the main city area. Ashley actually felt almost at home in the alleys of Hyo City's core, once again remembering her times hiding in the shadows as she followed her parents. Sure, she could've taken the main roads - but it just felt more comfortable to be in the shadows. Also, it wasn't like the smell of Hyo City really got any better - the whole City was pretty polluted and full of trash. If she'd been paying more attention she might have noticed the tapping of flippers getting louder as she got closer, but she was distracted by the feeling of Corn starting to crawl around in her pocket again. The small Joltik had been resting since their earlier battle and apparently had enough energy again, but she was mainly just hoping he stayed hidden behind the fabric. Luckily she only had to focus on Corn, with Bean hidden safety in his Pokeball - but because she was focusing on the electric-type she didn't slow down as she started to reach the end of this particular alleyway.

He continued standing where he was, and for what reason? That was for him to know alone, and alone he'd prefer to be until he heard the tapping of Frostbite's flippers stop. Daxton quickly turned his head to look behind him, where Frostbite was. She was easy to startle, and overly cautious, so if her nervous tapping finally fucking quit, either something snatched her or she noticed something. Tightening the gloved fist of his free hand, his bare fingers dug into the palm, knuckles cracking in a threat as he turned to glare in the direction his Spheal rolled away from. He wouldn't hide the egg, or tuck Frostbite away, he was more than confident in his abilities to battle, and even more confident in kicking someone's ass with his bare hands. His eyebrows furrowed impossibly deeper and he stepped around the corner Frostbite was now paranoid of.

Not really paying attention was a skill of Ashley's, and she was making good use of that skill in this very moment. At no point had she noticed the sound of tapping flippers getting close with each of her steps - which also meant she didn't notice when the sound stopped either. It didn't help that she was almost convinced she would remain alone for the majority of her journeys through the alleys. Sure, she knew she would come across someone eventually - this was the backstreets of Hyo City, it would be more than a miracle for her to see no one at all. She just wasn't expecting to see anyone this early into arriving, leaving her fully unprepared for what she was walking into - almost literally. Ashley came to a sudden stop as she got close to Daxton, an annoyed expression flashing across her features for a moment. There was over a foot of height difference between them, so Ashley had to look up to actually see who was in her path - sure it would probably be easier to take a step back, but the thought of moving or backing away didn't even cross her mind for a second. She could feel Corn moving around more as he noticed her stop, scuttling around under her jacket for a few seconds before eventually coming to a stop near her collar. He was probably peeking out slightly, but for now he was hopefully still hidden enough beneath the fabric. She didn't even notice the egg or Spheal to begin with, making good use of her superior attention skills once again. All she saw was the tall male blocking the only way she could go that wasn't backwards. Her initial thought was honestly Plasma - not because she actually thought he was a member, but because she'd had them on her mind since her unsatisfying encounter with them by the hospital. The thought passed after a moment, but the feeling of frustration stuck around a bit longer. "It's a bit rude to walk in front of people you know." Sure she hadn't seen him step around the corner, as far as she was actually aware he had just appeared while she was walking - but that was details that she didn't really see as important just yet.

Daxton looked down at this person, and she didn't seem like a threat, but he'd seen his mother take down his father. Either way, Daxton stood there with the egg and gave a snort of disdain to the comment about his rudeness. "It's a fucking alleyway in fucking shithole city. Get over your fucking self." He snapped out, feeling his Spheal roll up to bump gently against the back of his leg. He lifted that leg, and let Frostbite inspect the potential target in front of them. Granted, she wasn't near aggressive enough to match any of the rest of Daxton's team. She didn't comment on the egg, so maybe she was just really fucking stupid. Either way he wouldn't be here for long so if she left to report him to Plasma, they wouldn't find shit. Unless they were able to decipher who he was from his description... then they might move faster. Either way, it didn't matter. His upper lip curled some and he didn't quite move out of the way- "Keep going." There was plenty of room to just go around.

Barely contained frustration was probably obvious in Ashley's expression as he spoke, who did he think he was telling her to get over herself? That familiar feeling of being judged in some way was rising back up again, and in all honesty this scene was eerily reminiscent of her encounter with Plasma by the hospital. Here she was, standing up to some guy with a significant height and visible strength advantage over her - and she still believed she could handle this. She had been looking for something interesting to happen. Movement by their feet caught her attention, around the same time she felt Corn start to crawl down her back towards the floor. The Spheal caught her by surprise, had she been there the whole time? Had he been holding an egg the whole time as well? How had she not noticed? The clear reason was because she hadn't been paying any attention to her surroundings, and because the moment a glimpse of conflict landed in front of her she became practically blinded to everything else - but this reasoning never even crossed her mind. For a split second, Ashley looked confused - but it didn't take long for her attitude to come back. Crossing her arms infront of her, Ashley raised an eyebrow and looked up at the male again as he told her to keep going. There was technically room to get past, but that required moving out of the way for him and not the other way around. Added to that, if he had a Pokemon out in the open it meant one of two things - he was Plasma or he was over-confident. Either was a possibility in her mind. "You're still in my way." There was clear attitude in her voice, which was yet another example of her bad decision making. While Ashley was being far too cocky for her own good, Corn had made his way down to the ground - or at least far enough to just sit on toe of Ashley's shoes. Tilting his head to the side slightly to inspect the Spheal, the electric-type let out a small static-like chirp - clearly not going for the aggressive intimidation tactic his trainer was attempting to use.

Daxton stood there with his egg and Spheal, watching the girl in front of him. A Joltik, a familiar sight, but no concern of his. She stood there, clearly with space to move around him, and had the gall to fucking spit attitude at him. His sneer deepened, then his face evened out. He turned to place the egg down gently with his Spheal, then stood back up. Wordlessly, one of his hands shot out to grasp as the back of her clothes, picking her up like she weighed nothing to him, and held her away from him. It was a very short walk to the nearest dumpster for him to wrench open, and toss her into. And to wrap it up, without missing a beat, he slammed the lid back down and leaned on it. Since she was too fucking ignorant to just go around him, he'd help her out. The entire time this happened, Frostbite tapped her flippers happily, watching in amusement as he master manhandled someone into the trash.

There was no spoken response to Ashley's statement, and honestly she wasn't sure how to feel about that. Maybe he was just lost for words and didn't know what to say, which technically meant she was winning - right? Clearly she was hitting some kind of nerve, judging by the sneer on his face, but here he was still not moving out of her way. It didn't matter that she could easily go past him, that wasn't the point here. Ashley uncrossed her arms as he placed the egg on the ground, an obvious frown on her face. Was he preparing to fight with her? Her fists instinctively clenched by her sides, fully prepared to fight back if she needed to. Logically she had no chance of winning, but since when did Ashley Symons think logically. She opened her mouth to make another comment, but there was no time to react when she was suddenly grabbed by the back of her clothes. If he'd just grabbed her jacket she probably could've escaped easily, after all it was already too big for her and slipped off without her trying - but he must have grabbed her shirt at the same time, which was still slightly stretched at the front from her Plasma interaction. Her eyes widened, anger and shock both flashing across her expression as she tried to get away. Her feet were no longer on the ground, and all she could really do was flail around - which wasn't really helping her much. "Put. Me. Down." She growled the words out, trying to grab at the arm holding her. Her nails weren't long enough to do anything even if she could get a grip. She didn't really have much time to do anything anyway, because within moments she found herself thrown haphazardly into a nearby dumpster - not even lucky enough for it to be empty. Luckily, as Ashley's feet had started to lift off of the ground, Corn had hopped off onto the ground - just watching the events unfold. He didn't seem to have much of a reaction, in fact he looked just as comfortable happy as he always did. It only took a few seconds for him to crawl up to the egg and inspect it innocently, almost seeming to forget about Ashley for now. As the lid closed on top of Ashley, she could feel herself starting to shake with anger. Fists clenched, she started to puch on the lid to get it open again - but it just wouldn't budge and that was only making her even more frustrated. She wanted to scream at him, but that was one thing she held in as she pounded on the dumpster lid with clenched fists. She was honestly paying no attention to how hard she was hitting, and she would regret this once the adrenaline wore off - but that was a problem for future Ashley. "Let me out! Argh!" Ashley did say more after this, but it was mainly a string of expletives that slowly faded out with each second that passed. She was still shaking with anger, but clearly physical force and strong language weren't getting her anywhere.

Frostbite finished tapping her flippers, looking shyly up at the Joltik inspecting the egg, which gave a small wiggle. Likely some odd halfway to hatching but one could only guess. Her master would probably know better but he was busy right now, and by busy, he was leaning on the dumpster, one elbow hiked up to hold it closed. Daxton stood with his other hand on his hip, listening to her beat against the dumpster and not budge him an inch. "Since you clearly couldn't see the space to walk around me... I'm going to fucking assume you're too stupid to figure out that punching the lid isn't going to do anything other than break your hand." He stood a moment longer, looking over to his Spheal and the seemingly harmless Joltik.

Ashley continued to punch her fists against the lid for just a few seconds longer, before finally giving up. Obviously she didn't want to admit he was right, but her hands were already starting to hurt - and it would only be worse when she managed to calm down. "Just. Let. Me. Out." She spoke through gritted teeth, anger dripping off of every word. She tried one more time to get the lid open, pushing with as much force as she could actually handle right now instead of punching aggressively. It still probably wouldn't work, but maybe she could move it just a little bit. She only tried for a short while, eventually letting her arms fall down again and leaning her head back on the inside wall of the dumpster. At least she wasn't bothered by the trash surrounding her, she needed to change anyway - these were still the same clothes she'd been wearing when she'd made her way to the labs to see Coryn. Corn sniffed at the egg for a second, scuttling backwards in surprise as it wiggled slightly. He tilted his head to the side slightly, before turning his attention to the Spheal again. He let out another static-like chirp, tapping his tiny feet against the ground happily. Honestly he was just happy to meet new friends, but it probably wouldn't be too much longer before he was searching for a device to feed off of again - and his charger was currently trapped inside the dumpster with Ashley.
