Allie Evans
THE FUN-LOVING POKEMON
AGE | GENDER | ALLEGIANCE | OCCUPATION |
Eighteen | Cis Female | Neutral | Pokemon Performer |
APPEARANCE
Allie is a slim female, standing at 173 cm (5'8") and weighing 50 kg (110 lbs). She has fair skin and cheerful brown eyes. Her hair is styled into a mohawk, with the shaved parts dyed dark blue and the tuft of hair dyed a sky blue. Traces of her natural brown hair shows at the bottom, though.
Allie likes to go for a simple-yet-graceful style. Her clothing is usually in solid colours with little-to-no patterns, and she prefers practical sports shoes over something like heels. Her current favourite set is a pink sweater paired with any shirt (since the shirt is not visible anyways), light blue skirt and grey long pants. Allie minimises makeup, going for more of a "natural beauty". Despite being a Performer, Allie doesn't mind getting dirty.
Regardless of if she was on the move, Allie always faces the problem of not knowing what to do with her hands. They often end up in a crossed position or on her hips because of that. When standing still, Allie likes to lean back onto the nearest solid object, often disregarding how dirty it was if it was not visible to the naked eye. Allie walks with a bounce in her steps, often twirling or skipping randomly.
Allie has a rather nice singing voice with a wide pitch variety, though she cannot go particularly high or low. She is also rather flexible, because many of her routines required things like splits. She was not professionally trained in either, though.

PERSONALITY
POSITIVE -Cheerful -Empathetic -Energetic -Creative -Self-Assured -Outspoken -Humble -Honest -Free-spirited NEGATIVE -Strongly pacifist -Careless -Naive -Loud -Unreliable -Overly curious -Dramatic -Blunt -Dislikes pressure | Allie is nearly always very cheerful and energetic, sometimes overly so. She seems to have no concept of what danger is, staring down everything that comes her way with a bright smile on her face and checking out far too many things for her own good, considering the nature of Anrui. She is known for being rather naive, having a hard time thinking badly of people. She often subconsciously justifies their actions in an attempt to see the good in them. This does allow her to understand others easily though, allowing her to have an easy time being empathetic, both to humans and to pokemon. Allie often eases into conversation fairly easily as well, allowing her to be more outspoken once she gets comfortable. Allie is very creative, both when it comes to her performances and when in real life. She likes to find and make use of unconventional solutions to problems, with varying degrees of success. Allie is not trustworthy with secrets. At all. She is rather honest, and that combined with how much she likes to talk often causes her to spill secrets by accident. It is hard for her to get this under control, so she usually just discourages people from telling her important stuff. Her honesty can also cause her to blurt out hurtful but true things, but she will immediately attempt to apologise upon realising how hurtful her words were. Allie is quite self-assured, though not to the point of stubbornness. She is not afraid of being looked at weirdly by other people, and is able to easily disregard discouraging comments thrown at her, a skill that she considered essential for a Pokemon Performer. The only person who has to like her is herself, in her opinion. However, she is not deaf to criticism and will happily take constructive ones, mentally filtering out any negative comments contained in it. Allie likes to express herself freely, which often means bursting into song and/or dance while on the road. It is not inherently a bad thing, especially since she does not mind any weird looks she gets. However, this also includes using large actions to illustrate her emotions, which can cause some to perceive her as dramatic when she was just expressing herself how she liked. Allie dislikes having pressure placed on her, and prefers doing things for fun and by her own will. Allie is fine with battling to train, but avoids actual battles, preferring to talk things out instead. She also dislikes calling pokemon teammates, instead referring to them as her friends. |
BACKGROUND
Allie was born in Kalos to humble beginnings. She was the only child of a pair of Pokemon salon workers, allowing her to come into contact with Pokemon at a very young age-about 3, when she was brought to work by her parents. She came into contact with Pokemon Performances soon after as well, watching with curious eyes as oddly-dressed people came in asking for all sorts of ridiculous haircuts for their pokemon. She asked her parents about them and was told about how Pokemon Performances worked. People would dress up and, alongside their pokemon, perform whatever task they were supposed to complete, all with the utmost beauty. That was when Allie became obsessed with Pokemon Performances.
Fast forward a few years of regular education, and Allie was 13, ready to receive her first pokemon. From Professor Sycamore, she received a Froakie to accompany her on her journey, whom she named Strike. He was responsible for kickstarting her naming trend of “words starting with S”.
Allie had zero interest for the Gym challenge, and neither did Strike. The two avoided the Gyms, instead venturing deep into Santalune Forest where Allie and Strike would poke around everywhere. That was where Allie met Sorrow the Weedle, who joined the team after seeing Strike and Allie dance together. He soon found his place bouncing between Strike’s bubbles, much to everyone’s excitement.
Travelling at a leisurely pace, unlike other more battle-oriented trainers, Allie and her friends made their way to the first Contest venue. Allie’s eccentric and innovative style allowed her to catch many eyes, especially since her simple clothes (which were kind of torn up by then) were already attracting quite some attention, eventually winning her the contest.
Allie and friends went on to win more Contests, finding more friends along the way. When they got enough Princess Keys to try for the Master Class Contest, though, Allie hesitated. She did not want to become the Kalos Queen, only to be challenged every year for a high position–and she did not want the stress that came with taking part in such a large tournament as well.
Finally, she made a decision. She would not go to the Master Class Contest, and would instead carry on attending smaller Contests, switching up her venue every now and then. Her friends were fine with the decision, and so that was what they did for the next few years.
Eventually, though, things got too boring. At age 18, Allie and her friends agreed that it was time for her to seek a fresh start outside of Kalos. With some research, Allie found out about Anrui. A place that wasn’t part of the main regions? She was immediately curious, and decided that she was going there. She did discover that her own pokemon could not be brought into the region, though-a precaution that she took to mean that the region’s environment was unsuitable for those from other regions. Her friends agreed to stay with her parents, and off went Allie on her own. She arrived in Anrui with no problem, still not having detected anything wrong-though she will soon.
