Dax stomped along quietly, on his seemingly ever constant search for shit to get into, except this time the search was now him, for his friend, out here looking for a seviper of all things. Apparently they needed a Seviper for something, so now here he was, in the fucking Fie Forest, bird hopping along next to him as he looked around for some snake.
Zeus better pay him well for this... The sun was setting over the horizon, it was getting darker and darker, and now it was getting to well past the time most would have fled from a forest. That wasn't going to stop him though. Putting Gaichu away, he switched the bird out for Valkyrie, his old friend's-now-his's Houndoom landing in front of him with a soft thud. "Lookin for a snake."
He shrugged at his Houndoom when she gave him a look back, and started walking deeper into the forest with her.

Daxton let out a low grumble at the approaching sounds of ruckus, as did his Houndoom. Though at the sight of a Tangela running from something, he decided he'd just hide in the bushes for the time being, Valkyrie standing against his back, crouched in there with him as he watched the Beedrill and Tangela go by.
Valkyrie on the other hand, was showing her teeth to the stripe that was hiding not too far away from then, flashing her canines in a silent warning to go ahead and fuck around and find out. Daxton wouldn't stick around long anyways. Dax was the kind of guy who didn't like to stand around and wait for some irate pokemon to continue it's war path back to it's nest.
Giving the stripe in the bush a glance, he nudged Valkyrie and they continued going in the same direction they had entered the bush. Certainly not going anywhere where he saw a damned Beedrill come from, that's for sure.

The forest is quiet for a little while until you hear a screeching from above. It's a spinarak, and it's caught in... a web?? The web is wrapped around him like a blanket, but probably not as cozy.
