Lv. 13 Riolu Lv. 14 Meowth Lv. 13 Trubbish Lv. 11 Zubat Zethar was finally free!(tm) Free from Hyo, at least for now, from that stinky ass city with it's stinky ass people. Maybe it's cause he's from Lesca, maybe it's cause he grew up with the cult partaking in events in the volcanic wilderness of Lesca, away from prying eyes so when he came to Hyo, it was an absolute shithole by comparison. Even then, he was talking to Nomos, idly sending a few messages that he was on his way home while telling Nomos, his Riolu walking next to him, how much Lesca puts Hyo to shame. Granted, Nomos took what he said with a grain of salt, but he still listened to his master, none-the-less, feeling the joy filling him just from the thought of going home. What exactly the source of the joy was was entirely unknown to the Riolu next to him but it was joy none the less, and made the puppy's eyes brighten up just a bit.

[Zethar Igneo Sideris]

Nomos and Zethar continued walking for a bit, although Nomos spent considerably more time looking around the area, feeling for auras and such. Both of them came to a pause as a Timburr stood in their path though, causing both of them to furrow their eyebrows (Nomos's closest thing to eyebrows, that is) as the Pokemon looked around, confused. It's confused gaze landed on Zethar though, and turned into a hard glare, causing him to throw up his hands in a ... really poor attempt to pacify it. As the piece of timber was swung towards Zethar, Nomos gave it a hard kick as a warning, landing in front of his master with a low growl. "Nice kick, Nomos." He let out a huff, looking towards the Timburr in front of him. His Riolu let out a low growl, pumping himself up as the Timburr took on a stance. It started with a focused growl from the Timburr and an incoming Low sweep towards Nomos. "Dodge that!" Zethar cried out, his Riolu easily hopping over the other small pokemon. "Metal Claw!" And Nomos leapt forward to cover the rest of the distance, swiping his glowing claws at the Timburr's back, causing him to stagger forward. Hang in there little dude with no stat modifiers outside of Metal Claw Nomos lv13 inner focus / steadfast quick attack | endure | feint | metal claw | counter earthquake Timburr used Focus Energy Timburr used Low Kick Nomos dodged! Nomos didn't remain in a safe space for too long though as the Timburr was quick to recover, letting out an irritated growl, eyes clenched for a moment in gathered focus before whirling around, swinging the piece of timber, striking Nomos and knocking him to the side. Zethar took a small step forward as his Riolu was sent a good distance away from the fight, but it wasn't long before Nomos recovered, back on his feet and ready. "That's m' boy! Quick Attack!" Zethar called out, watching as Nomos closed the gap between him and the wild Pokemon in a blink, striking the Timburr and knocking the lost and scared Pokemon backwards. Despite being injured, the fighting type lived up to his name and was already getting back up. Zethar quickly whistled for Nomos to come back to him, throwing a Pokeball out to release Kyra. He only had one ball and had to make this count. As soon as Kyra hit the ground, she let out an annoyed his at both being woken up and the Timburr across the way that was regaining his balance from being knocked backwards. "Put him to sleep, Kyra!" Though the Timburr had already thrown a heavy rock Kyra's way, knocking her over the head and making her yowl in furthered annoyance, shaking her head as she refocused on the timburr to aim her hypnosis, tail swaying in time with the strange energy that rolled off of her and surrounded the Timburr, causing it to fall over, asleep. Taking his chance, Zethar pulled out his last Pokeball and threw it towards the Timburr. Zethar let out a sigh and walked forward, bending over to pick up the pokeball as Nomos and Kyra followed behind him, both of their tails moving slowly. He was just putting the ball somewhere safe when he heard the two pokemon growl at each other. Their tails had brushed and Kyra had looked at Nomos with a disgusted look and he... was giving her one right back. "Break it up, assholes, c'mon." He put his foot between them, nudging them apart before finally giving up and putting Kyra back in her ball. "Thought you were better than that, Nomos." He spoke up, reaching down to pick up the Riolu, putting him back down after he finished looking him over for any severe injuries. Nomos had been giving Zethar the "she started it" look the whole time as well... But they couldn't stand there like dumbasses, they'd have to get a move on, especially if he wanted to get anything done. The sounds of battle likely scared off any nearby Pokemon anyways.

Kalluk had taken to the wilds of Anrui more quickly than she had taken to any other location since her family left Snowpoint City all those years ago. This new region was different from Snowpoint in nearly every way, but its beauty was unlike anything she had ever seen. The cities and towns of the region were nothing special, and the people were unkind to say the least, but the natural environments scattered throughout the island never lost their jaw-dropping qualities, at least not to the water-type trainer.

[break][break]Of course, beauty did not necessarily mean safety, and in fact she had learned that in Anrui it usually meant quite the opposite. The more beautiful - the more removed from human interference - a location was, the more dangerous it seemed to be. Fie Forest was no different, so she kept her eyes peeled as she moved gently through the brush, careful to avoid trampling too much on any one ground-level plant. Behind her, a shiny wartortle followed quite closely, her ears twitching at every sound. She never liked when her trainer decided to go on these "casual walks" through the woods, but she had learned early on there was nothing she could do to stop her, so she did the next best thing and accompanied her to ensure she didn't get into any trouble.

[break][break]After a good bit of walking, Kalluk felt the wartortle's claws tapping against her leg. Recognizing the usual sign that there was something she needed to be aware of, the woman stopped and scanned the area before looking down at her wartortle. ḳiḳuyat pointed ahead of them, and with a second glance, she caught sight of what she thought was a person holding... a blue pokemon of some sort. Between the branches and bushes, it was difficult to tell.

[break][break]Unsure if this person would pose a danger to ḳiḳuyat, she reached for her pokeball from her pocket and pulled the wartortle in before taking a moment to hide the device safely in her bag. Then, confident that she just looked like a casual woman taking a walk in a dangerous forest in awar-torn region and totally not a pokemon trainer, she strode towards the human, curious to see what he as holding.

Nomos let out a chirp as he was placed back on the ground, a low growl coming from his throat as he watched the other human walking towards Zethar. The unsure little aura reader didn't know what to think other than 'startled'. Zethar noticed the growling though and turned around, startling some at the sight of the other person. "By Entei's smoke you can't just sneak up on a person like that!" Zethar huffed out, slamming a hand over his heart as he took a breath. "Geez." Granted, he should have heard the person coming up behind him but... hear him out. He was distracted, alright? He cursed under his breath as he lowered the hand that was over his heart, watching the woman across the way. He looked at her, observing her before knitting his eyebrows together. Was she some lost civilian or something. Raising one of his eyebrows, he spoke up a bit. "You lost?" He finally asked, letting Nomos stand behind his leg, one paw on his calf, to watch the woman with twitching ears.

As Kalluk approached, she was able to see the pokemon that the man had been holding much more clearly. She was fairly certain the species was called "r-i-o-l-u," but she had never met one in person and didn't know much beyond what it looked like. It was cute, but its presence most certainly put Kalluk on guard, given the potential for him to be a member of Plasma. It was times like these that she desperately wished grunts had to wear uniforms in Anrui like cops did in other regions.

[break][break]Finally having sensed her presence, the man turned around. Smiling as her eyes wandered to his lips, she couldn't quite make out exactly what he had said, but his mannerisms seemed to tell her that she had spooked him. Her smile grew and she giggled a bit as he placed his hand on his chest. He then looked at her and spoke once more, and this time she did manage catch what he asked.

[break][break]Eyebrows raising, she shook her head, confirming that she wasn't lost. Her smile remained ever present on her face. She had learned early in her life that people were sometimes uncomfortable with how little she spoke, and if she wanted to survive encounters with strangers, smiling was her best way to communicate that she wasn't being obtuse, but was just... quiet.

[break][break]She looked down at the riolu, watching it from behind its trainer. Pointing at the pokemon, she raised her eyes back to the man, curiosity painted on her face.

Zethar ruffled his messy black hair, looking down at Nomos as she pointed her finger at him, giving the two of them a curious look. He didn't understand quite what she wanted to know but he just scrunched up his face anyhow, looking back at her. "No? I'm not Plasma?- Why aren't you talking? Is something wrong?" He let out a frustrated huff, as Nomos struck him in the back of his leg. The Riolu was still very much a young aura reader, and wouldn't fully grow into his abilities until he evolved and continued to grow. But he did try to get a read on the woman across from him, and so far, he hadn't felt any direct hostility. He couldn't pin what it was, but Zethar was being rude and that was enough to warrant him striking him on the back of his leg. "Nomos, you little shit." He hissed out at his Riolu, watching as the Pokemon took a step towards Kalluk, holding his little paw out curiously, but never letting go of Zethar's leg.
