PERSONALITY
POSITIVE - AWARE - HARD-WORKING - COMPASSIONATE - GOOD EYE - EMPETHETIC NEGATIVE - CARELESS - CHAOTIC - IMMORAL - WORKAHOLIC - VULNERABLE | Zahra has hardly any bad traits - or truly terrible ones anyways - and is honestly too good for Anrui. He belongs somewhere nice, in a high-end loft with a seaside view. Instead, he has scrapped around for money in order to feed himself, though most of his earnings are given to those around him in the caravan, preferably the children and elderly. He works long and hard, from early morning to the next morning, all in order to provide dinner on the table. Though his father does his own dealings, Zahra knows it is not enough and ensures that they can have at least something to eat. For Zahra, being careless and aware are two completely different things. He is constantly aware of his surroundings and situations, making sure that he doesn't step on anyone's toes or manage to piss off the wrong Plasma member. However, he is also extremely careless of himself, going as far as to sell his own body for a little bit of money. He's willing, so long as there is a good price involved. Stealing is not below him, though he will only resort to it if necessary. He's fairly good at it, doing it all in a swift motion and only ever taking from those who look to be well off. He doesn't always feel horrible about it, especially if they have done something to one of the beggars, but he also knows that while it isn't the right thing to do, he must make choices to enable his survival. As well, the people around him are reason enough and he refuses to see them suffer too much. He is strongly compassionate, never wanting to ever give up on them, and would do anything in order to see them with full bellies, rather than protruding ribcages. He also has a good eye, often looking at items that are shiny and glittering and could more than likely fetch a high dollar. Over time, he has kept some of the items for himself, when everyone is fed. Along with being compassionate, he is also empathetic. The moment he sees someone who is struggling, even if it is not one of his people, he feels the need to help them however he can. He's been told that he has a big heart, one that needs to be contained more if he wishes to survive, but he can't help to do what is in his nature. This can make Zahra vulnerable though, especially if someone realizes how he can be. He doesn't seem to hide the fact that he is this way, so anyone could end up tricking him and cause harm. His father is constantly lecturing him, even though Zahra is a grown adult now, and is constantly trying to keep him from getting into more than he can chew. Zahra can be chaotic and cause a scene if need be, especially if Plasma is after him for something ridiculous. He knows the alleys like the back of his hand and can navigate through them without an issue. However, in the wake of his navigation, there tends to be quite a mess, along with some commotion that typically involves stall knocking over and merchandise being thrown everywhere. |
BACKGROUND
The child did not speak for the first few weeks, so the same leader - Saphir Reza - named the child Zahra Aisha and raised him as his own, going so far as to give him his surname and called the child his son. A word had not been spoken by Zahra for weeks and most days he would just sit and stare at Saphir with big green eyes, to which Saphir would stick out his tongue or make a funny face. After three months of silent breakfasts and dinners in the run-down shed that Saphir made his home, Zahra eventually spoke, asking for a golden bracelet.
Saphir was shocked at first and then confused. What would a six-year-old want with a golden bracelet? Zahra had seen it on one of Saphir's customers - glittering and shining in the spring sun. Since that day, he loved everything that sparkled and glittered. But soon he learned that the child loved everything that sparkled under the sun and Saphir would gift him items that did just that when he had the extra money. Some days, the man's Pokemon - a Whimsicott - would let out a shower of golden sparkles that Zahra would stare up at in awe and amazement.
Months passed and no one came forward about the missing child. No posters, no information posted around town, nothing. So Saphir took it as a sign, officially making Zahra his. He was sure that the young child knew about the lack of blood relation, but made no notion that he cared any. So they lived as happy a life they could, Saphir and his son.
Zahra grew into a young man as time went on. Cocky, an extrovert, and full of talent. He could dance, put on a display, could act - he was many in one. But his talents never stopped there and he had to adjust those talents to other things as he got older, when he realized that the money he was making wasn't enough. So he turned towards more scandalous methods of gaining money. Most did not have an issue with it, but Saphir of course did. He was his father, adopted or not, and seeing Zahra sell himself to anyone who was lonely and looking for a little company was something he disapproved of. It caused their relationship to become strained, often with Zahra attempting to explain how it paid well and others were doing it too. Of course, Saphir never let up and Zahra continued doing it anyway, despite all the lectures his father would give him. But Zahra is beginning to try and see past all that, looking to Contests and the prizes he would be able to win through them. He could win money enough to support his people, maybe get some of those with kids off the streets for good.
And so, he begins ...[/ul][/div][/div]
