APPEARANCE
PERSONALITY
POSITIVE - LOYAL - PROTECTIVE - QUICK THINKING - GENEROUS - HARDWORKING NEGATIVE - IMPULSIVE - AGGRESSIVE - VULGAR - POOR JUDGE - UNAPOLOGETIC | Since he got his first friend - which was during high school - he has always been loyal to the ones he cares for most. He always has their backs and would never do anything to betray their trust. As well, he is protective of them. If you say anything about them, you're going to get an uppercut to the jaw. If you make them cry, you better run cause he's coming after you. And if the person is Don, you can expect much, much worse from him because it makes you a dead man. A quick thinker, Nova can change up the game whenever he needs to. Whether it is on the ice or in a battle, he can change the direction of something as quickly as it started, affecting the outcome to benefit himself (or all parties involved, if you want to believe he cares that much). As well, he is generous, always giving to the needy. Not the needy humans, he's not well equipped to handle people outside his friend group. No, he is generous to Pokemon specifically, feeding them whenever seeing them. If he is passing by a food stand and finds Pokemon huddled around it, he'll buy food from the stand and give it to them instead. He's a hard worker, part of the reason that he is so generous to those Pokemon he feeds. Skating has certainly paid its way for him, with more money than he knows what to do with. He always has the money to pay for their food, his food, and probably the food of others as well. However, he can't do that last bit because of his impulsive behavior. Any time he spots a new item for sale in a store window, he runs for it, especially when it has some sort of cat Pokemon on it. He pulls it off the rack quickly, throws the money at the cashier, and has it stuffed into his closet or thrown on him quicker than most people. If you judge him for it, watch out. Nova is aggressive, as one can probably tell. Growing up looking like a girl his whole life gave him the icy temper that he holds now. Whether it be someone accidentally doing something or some shouting vulgar things at him, no one is excused from his attitude. Speaking of vulgar things: he is extremely vulgar when brought to his limit. He's dealt with too many catcallers and passer by's whistling at him in misunderstanding to not be, often shouting back or flipping them off. When they realize that he is a girl, they shout out in disgust or walk away in embarrassment but not before he takes the vulgarity up a notch. He's always been a poor judge of character and this may be due to his mother's behavior around him. He will not trust you, even the sweetest of people, and keeps a close eye on those who he thinks might harm him or his friends. However, it could be someone with the best intentions in mind, an innocent. Yet, he is extremely unapologetic of it, even if it was his fault the whole time. He was never taught to be polite or how to be a good person and own up for his actions, he was never able to. |
BACKGROUND
He'd been sent to the principal office that day for provoking a fight and sent home with a suspension for cursing at the principle. It did give him the extra few days of doing nothing but skating, one day spotting the same girl from his class watching him. She wasn't coming to thank him, only coming to declare that she - Seraphina Byrne (who much preferred Donovan or Don) - was now his new best friend and vice versa. Nova had been taken off guard at first, never having had a friend before. The two did everything together though and were a perfect match. Both were often thought to be the opposite gender, both loved to skate, and both didn't take anyone's shit.
They would spend time together every day: when Nova wasn't busy with the ice rink, he'd head down to the skate park and watch Don from the sidelines as she did her thing. When Don wasn't at the skate park, she'd watch Nova at the rink. Nova would even drag her around shopping with him and buy her whatever she wanted, money never an issue. He was there for her when her father rejected her, threatening to kill him if she wanted him to - jokingly of course.
As time moved on, Nova began seeing someone. The two of them were not a good pair together. He insisted that Nova moved into his apartment; talked to him like he was trash and to which Nova added onto, causing a major argument each time. He could blame it on his mother's bedroom habits from when he was a child, he supposed. But in truth, it was just that he had always been, and continued to be, a terrible judge of character. So when his boyfriend kicked him out and Don came to him about how she was moving to Anrui, Nova said f' it. He decided that he would do the same thing, packing his things and boarding a ship just a week after Don.
Now, he stands before the building that will give him a job he never really thought he would have had before. Hope whoever is inside is ready for the hurricane about to approach them.[/ul][/div][/div]
