it's becoming a battle of attrition now, it seems. the nidoran kicks valiantly at chompy's vines as they strangle it, and chompy winces, but isn't deterred. he may be wishing right now he had spines or thorns to dig into the little pokemon's skin further, but alas... he has no such things. the only thing he can do is to tighten his hold by boosting his size even more, using growth once more. he strains, digging in tightly, refusing to let go, as he continues his bind attack afterwards.
gemma would be giving him more commands, but it seems chompy has the right idea. besides, she's distracted by the loud crunching behind her. even if she were to speak, it'd likely get drowned out by the geodude's mid-battle snack. plants don't always have the best hearing, after all.
she turns around and crouches down to the geodude's height. she puts a finger up to her lips, and gives it a pleading look. "please?" she asks it, nicely. she doesn't want to get in another fight, after all.
