APPEARANCE
Kenny is a tall and rather well built man. He is a bit taller than the average man standing at a towering 6'4" making him taller than his father who was only 6'2". His body is muscular and toned from a life of hard work and incarceration where he had little else to do aside from work out day in and day out.
His hair is very messy and unkept. He doesn't really care much for appearance so it's rare that he takes time to comb or style it. His hair is colored jet black and is kept about medium long in terms of length. It is usually spiked up unless his hair is really wet as he prefers the way it looks when spiked up plus it's a little easier for him to ignore that way.
He has one eye that is missing and he opts for an eye patch instead of a glass eye. His right eye was permanently damaged and he liked the thought of an eye patch stating that it made him look scarier and more dangerous. He will sometimes tie a scarf or bandana around it as well if he is going to be somewhere with harsh weather or climate or if he is going to a more upscale event such as a classy party of sorts as he thinks a scarf is classier than the eye patch though it's not much of an improvement.
He has a darker pale skin tone and his body is covered in scars from head to toe. He also has a few tattoos on his arms and torso though the ones on his torso reside around his ribs where they are harder to see. His scars range from small to large from both his line of work and from fights both in and out of jail.
In terms of what he prefers to wear, he likes old loose fitting button up shirts and typically wears them with the front left unbuttoned. He is hot natured and usually doesn't like to wear a shirt at all but because of public opinion on that he finds good middle ground in wearing them as he does. His pants are usually jeans with nothing all too amazing or standoffish about them. He has a belt with a large belt buckle he wears most of the time which belonged to his father. The belt is made of the finest leather and the buckle of pure silver. His shoes are old and usually worn out work boots with steel toes that most would fine uncomfortable.
His hands and feet are rough and callous from standing and using his hands for long hours in his trade. His skin is typically on the tough side being both hard like leather and rough like fine sandpaper. His teeth are sharp and jagged, one on his right side is missing from being broken out during a fight but the rest are clean and well kept. The sharpened teeth are reminiscent of a shark's and he made them this way because it was a requirement put in place by the gang he was a part of when he was younger.
PERSONALITY

He's the sort you would run from on a late night if you saw him or simply avoid him if you crossed him during the day. He's a tough and loud man who takes no shit from anybody and will tell you what he thinks whether you like it or not. He's about as sharp as a club, not the sort you want working on a cure for cancer and he usually doesn't mean well either. Looking at him the wrong way will incur his wrath as he's the ill tempered sort with a very short fuse. He's not afraid of getting into a fight and could care less what authority has to say about him. He's usually pretty violent, not afraid to break you physically if he feels you have earned it, and even in a good mood he loves a good blood and gore movie or sidestreet fight that he can put a wager on. Like most of his sort, he believes life can be punched into submission, an attitude that has landed him in trouble more than it has ever helped but being bullheaded allows for pattern repetition on the level of insanity. Despite shortness of brain cells and a bad attitude, he still believes he and his way are always best. He bosses others around and ignores any protests against him. He will resort to threats and aggression if his leadership is challenged, especially if it's someone using 'smart people logic'. His confidence is impressive because of this, he can have the dumbest idea imaginable but have the confidence to believe it as fact. Ignoring him outright and walking away as fast as you can is the best way to shut him up, though it's hard with him swinging at you in a blind rage. Though he is hard to approach or deal with, he has some natural leadership qualities even if they are ridiculous orders. He comes from a hardworking background where giving up was forbidden and so he himself is a very persistent and hard working individual. Even if his task is impossible, he will keep at it till his body gives out and still fight to keep at it. His motto is to work hard until he either gets somewhere in life or turns to dust, and he sticks with that way of life. His looks and attitude are not only for show either. He is every bit as tough as he looks. He has pushed through and fought life at every turn and is tough enough to take any challenge head on because of it. He doesn't think strategically nor does he try to find a clever method to do anything. He simply brute forces through every obstacle and challenge like a charging bull and will fight till he dies or wins. Though he fights alot, he is no easy man to kill. Many have tried and he endures every threat to his life. He repels psychological pain better than most as well and will endure anything that he faces. Maybe he's simply too dumb? Maybe his life's unfairness has made him numb to pain. It's hard to really tell but this man will tear through others like a freight train if he feels so inclined. Though brains are far from his strong suit, he does have some going for him. He is naturally mechanically inclined and can almost understand the 'language' of machines. He can 'guess' something apart and put it back together from memory. He can engineer, reverse engineer, cobble together, repair, and diagnose machinery of all types despite the fact he can barely use a basic computer or speak plain english. It's this trait that really made him a successful mechanic, but it also pretty much locked him in one career field as he was ill suited to pretty much everything else. |
BACKGROUND
T Kenny was born to a very hard working family in Hyo city years before the R.O.T outbreak. His family loved him and instilled a sense of hard work in him from a very young age. They were not rich but they were pretty well off and always used their life as an example for Kenny in hopes it would keep him on the right path but he always seemed to be a trouble child who did not like to listen to anyone.
His mother worked as a business lawyer and his father was an engineer for an important technology firm specializing in devices for pokemon care. Trying times were ahead for his family due to his father's line of work but it would be 8 years till that would come to pass.
It was that 8 years later that Kenny had his first arrest. Another child insulted his father after the R.O.T outbreak was made public and Kenny felt inclined to send the boy to the hospital with a broken arm and broken nose along with many cuts and bruises. Kenny was tried for assault but only served 6 months in juvenile hall thanks to his mother who got him off easy.
He was in and out of juvenile hall for the next couple of years due to fights, even some with his teachers. He would fight anyone who said anything he didn't like despite the fact he knew he was going to pay for it. It only got worse with time, especially when Plasma took over.
When Plasma took over, Kenny's dad lost his job and their family suffered a heavy financial blow. They also had their pokemon seized which included a shinx that belonged to Kenny as his pet. Kenny's parents joined the resistance in secret and formed their own home business continuing Kenny's father's line of work, only it was for the resistance now. They had pokemon in secret and refused to tell Kenny to keep Kenny risk free because their way of life was now illegal but it was they only life they knew. Because of the money they made and the lack of records of employment, Plasma grew suspicious of them.
Kenny's parent's were found out 2 years later when he was only 15. Kenny was back in lock up after being busted with an illegal drug at his school. His parents were killed for their involvement with the resistance and the one who caught them was a jealous neighbor who had joined Team Plasma. Kenny didn't find out till his release when he was 16. He became even angrier at the world and just let himself loose like a loose cannon. He lost himself to drugs and violence.
He joined a gang who was affiliated with the resistance but they used their ties and pokemon for highly illegal activities. They attacked people with their pokemon, dealt drugs,and commited vandalism and arson. Nothing was sacred to them, but they were just punk idiots in the end. Kenny earned the nickname King K because of his first and last name and because he earned his way up to second in command of the gang. He had an arbok trained to kill and he himself beat down anyone who stood up to him. He was a leader and a kingpin for the gang until the whole gang went down.
When Kenny was 21, the gang was busted by Team Plasma for possession of dangerous pokemon and a long list of other crimes. It was one of the few times Plasma did any real good for the community as the ruffians were too dangerous to be running free. Kenny was charged ruthlessly and charges were added in court after he even tried to attack the judge for his tone. Kenny was going to be imprisoned for a very very long time but that was changed thanks to his uncle.
Kenny's uncle got custody of him after his parent's had died and tried to set him on the right path to no avail. His uncle was too soft on him and spoiled him which only made his attitude worse in the end. He even paid off Kenny's release only to receive little gratitude for his kindness. Kenny's family's money was run dry because Plasma had seized it when his parents were killed. Kenny had next to nothing to his name when he was released and his pokemon had been taken as well. His gang forsook him because of his early release which was seen as a betrayal to them. All he had was his uncle and his position with the resistance.
He had met a member of the resistance in prison and signed up despite not really knowing what to do beyond that. He wanted revenge on Team Plasma and wanted his own pokemon again since he had been raised around pokemon. He hadn't been told where to go or what to do though so what path was he to take? He had decided to get clean and away from the drug use after his uncle talked to him about it. His uncle had told him that he was the shame of his family and living like that was slandering their good hard working name. He only really had a talent for working with machines, primarily motorcycles.
While in prison, alot of his time was devoted to learning a trade to try and rehabilitate him. He failed at everything but working with engines and machines. He took a particular liking for motorcycles which eventually became the answer to his current issue. He would earn a living as his father did and open a motorcycle shop. It was nothing glamorous but it was an honest paycheck and he could do the work. He was actually quite successful from the start thanks to his uncle who helped him get a building and a starting client base.
After turning 27, he had a bike come through his doors that he wouldn't let leave. The bike was an old classic big engined motorcycle that belonged to his father. It had been liquidated with the rest of their estate and would up in the hands of some old business man who was bringing it in for an oil change. Kenny offered a fair sum of money for it but his offer was refused, Kenny's next offer wasn't refused as he offered half of that previous offer and the man's life being left for him to walk out with. Kenny wasn't the sort you crossed and he had a reputation in Hyo city so this offer was accepted and the man didn't dare rat Kenny out. Kenny named the bike morticia and drove it everywhere.
He continued for another 2 months secretly trying to get information on the resistance that he had joined but even those who did know wouldn't tell. He finally had a regular customer tell him where to go to get a pokemon and start work with the resistance. The customer was a member himself and trusted Kenny as they were once a member of the same gang and also had a family with a bit of leverage. Kenny was warned that the supposed 'professor' was not a very pleasant man but then again Kenny himself wasn't either. Kenny resolved himself to go and find the professor and get himself another pokemon. This time he wouldn't be getting involved in drugs and mindless violence, this time it would be revenge.
