EEVEE ROCK

There's a large stone shaped like an Eevee near Casulari Island. It's half in the water, and half covered in grass and moss. As you get closer, it seems to glow ever so slightly.

Legend has it that if Eevee gets close enough, it will evolve into one of two pokemon, depending on which side it touches. East is in the water, West is covered in grass.

Vani and Rory stepped up to the rock, studying it thoughtfully. She looked down at Rory and nodded to him. "Okay. Now touch the side of the water, remember," she told him gently, watching as he stepped forward...and tripped.

Right into the side with the grass. He yelped as he was engulfed in light and Vani coughed into her hand to try to hide her smile as she watched him evolve. When the light faded she looked at the Leafeon before her and lifted her brows slowly.

"Well," she said slowly, picking up the smaller-than-usual Leafeon and cuddling him. "That's okay, Rory." She kissed his head and carried him away from the rock.

krista had wanted to waste no time. straight after her conversation with myrcella, she had hurried to route five, getting directions along the way. it took almost a day, but she had eventually found her way there, flanking her side was summer, his leafy tail trailing behind him.

"alright," krista said, looking down to the tan and green pokemon. "are you ready to walk her through it?"

summer nodded, sitting and waiting for krista to let out the shiny eevee. nymeria appeared in a flash of red light from the ball, the ice gem hanging from her neck on a petite silver chain. she shook her body a little, circling krista until she spotted summer and hid shyly behind the girl's leg. she'd not seen another pokemon before, aside from loras and stannis. krista nodded to summer and then crouched down to nymeria, scooping the eevee up and setting her on her lap. "don't worry." she said with a smile. "be fearless. you're surrounded by your friends here right now."

nymeria tilted her head at krista and then at summer, who had walked up to them. he touched his nose to the smaller pokemon and she responded with a gleeful lick to his nose. krista had set her down and watched as summer took the shiny eevee with him to the east rock in the water. he touched its smooth surface and instructed nymeria to do the same. when she did, her body glowed white and began the process of evolution. by the end of it, a glaceon stood where nymeria was.

she looked at her reflection in the water, twirled a little and then the two eeveelutions made their way back to krista, summer now looking at nymeria in a different light. she was, to simply put it, beautiful, with her white fur and prominent blue colors.

krista greeted her with a hug and checked the ice gem chain around her neck. "see, i told you that you would be fine." she told the pokemon, scratching her behind the ear. "alright!" krista declared, standing up. "let's go celebrate!" she said and left with the two pokemon on either side of her.

nymeria evolved into glaceon!
