goddammit i hate to give kaida more attention than your other characters but... hear me out on this one... her and @azura as roommates within plasma?? more of a recent development since azura only recently joined but they both have minor birth defects and are in the same age range

i also think even though azura willingly joined plasma it might be possible to make an exception for her because she quite literally can't make it on her own w/o pokemon, but that'd be a decision for kaida to make

Want to wait until after the event to set up the thread? Also why would kaida all of a sudden get s roommate? Maybe to watch her after what happened? Or they're just cutting down on housing.... If you have any ideas post in my plotter or in yours and tag me.

if they're roommates now it'd just be because blue's new to plasma and didn't have housing before... and then they put her in with kaida maybe like "haha you're gonna have to babysit this one because she can't remember ANYTHING" but it turns out kaida and blue actually get along pretty well? idk why kaida wouldn't have had a roommate before, maybe they just didn't really have anyone to put with her... or it's like when i was staying on campus at college and the person who was SUPPOSED to be my roommate just suddenly cancelled and i went half a semester with my own room.

starting the thread after the event starts good to me because things are pretty hectic right now. blue will probably badger kaida with a lot of questions about the ball because she wasn't there.

also they both have horsea now so they can bond over that

I can see kaida getting a little annoyed with blue at first bc she has a very fast tracked mind and blue is sort of.... A space cadet. But I think eventually they'd definitely get along very well. Very good contrasts for each other. I think kaida would see her as a plasma member she can actually befriend and be like wait they're not all bad?

Okamoto Kaida and Zeus still need to eventually plot together. Her old friend has been through a lot recently and it might be refreshing to see another familiar face, also open up some interesting conversations as well. Even if he's ex plasma.

Then there's Enzo and Khat. My excuse for his disappearance was that he was injured. A simple, boy thing really. Fell down the stairs and fractured his arm. His dad made him stick around the house more often so he'd be safe cause. y know. they live in Hyo

I'd say Khat and Abe, but I'm not sure if Abe is coming back yet c:< It's a nice hateship

Daisuke and Kaida may work out for a good plot as well, considering she's met his little brother, and has a feather that he had. The same feather he said he gave to some kid a long time ago when his visits took him to Blackthorn. She'll fit the description to the tee, and as long as she's careful about her status in plasma. I'd highly doubt she'd admit to being a spy to Daisuke so soon.
(Also, if you want a Tyrunt for her, lemme know. I can have Zeus give her a tyrunt egg. I have one that can be bred at some point.)

Talutah, if all goes well when he gets accepted, would probably have an easy time talking to Jack(son). (Also where did we end up on that BA thread? Lol, I can't recall precisely where we ended up at.)

I'm looking at @jackjack and I notice that This Boy Needs Friends. While Parhelia isn't a very good friend, she is definitely somehow older-younger than him and could pass as his grandma if need be. Friend and unlicensed guardian are basically the same role, right? I think Parhelia would also find it amusing that this child somehow makes her feel younger with the fact he is even less accustomed to modern life than she is.

also he needs a house. he's on the street? unacceptable. you buy that sweet boy a base as soon as possible so he can have a roof over his head.

Anyway, I love the idea of them being like weird old-young duo. I imagine him playing his trumpet down the street from her shop, and then when the cops come (bc he's not old enough for a permit) he bolts to her shop and just dumps the money in the cash register ("i steal all my food anyway")
