[attr=class, nameplate]BRENT L. HAYWOOD [attr=class, apptrait]THE MURDEROUS POKEMON [attr=class, apppadding] [attr=class, apptitle]APPEARANCE [b]BACCANO[/b] - claire, [i]brent haywood[/i] This young man has bright red hair, the result of dying it often. Naturally it's a rather vibrant orange; not much of a change. On stage he darkens his eyebrows because, hey, he's got to wear stage makeup anyway, why not fix that slight imperfection?. Off stage, he doesn't bother, unless he's planning to make an appearance for fans. Brent's face is round. Childlike, almost, with a small but pointed nose. There is a light dusting of freckles across his cheeks and nose, though on stage those are covered up as well. Smiling reveals dimples, which only add to the innocent look. Despite this, his expressions can easily make him seem him cruel; a very useful thing for some of his more gruesome songs. His eyes are a deep red. No matter how hot it is Brent will always be wearing long sleeved clothing, a result of the scars that litter his arms and torso. Luckily he's managed to keep his face safe, though he's not sure how long that can last. He's fond of long jackets and tight pants, as well as formal wear. On stage his outfits are slightly more fantastical, though his casual wear isn't all that casual either. [attr=class, apptitle]PERSONALITY Brent is a very creative individual, able to tell a story from even the smallest details. It comes as no surprise that he has a rather large range of hobbies. From drawing to singing to cooking to writing; he enjoys it all. Some he's better at than others, naturally, but he's never bored. He is also highly interested in, well, most thing. He'll happily read about any range of subjects, with a particular passion for word games. Despite his love of knowledge he has no interest in math, or really anything to do with numbers. When it comes to people he likes those that are challenging in some way; hard to outsmart or clever to talk to. These are the sort of people he kills the most. Oh, yes, he kills people. Nasty habit, that. Not one he's trying to fight, though; it's just so much fun. The point, perhaps unsurprisingly, is that he likes to have fun and that his poor impulse control means that he's got a tendency to have fun in any way he fancies. More often than not this will be in the form of writing a song or flirting with a cute girl... uh, who he may later kill. Finding targets has been a lot easier since he reached the state of somewhat famous. Despite his dark hobby, Brent is surprisingly optimistic. It's very rare that he'll fail to see the silver lining first, no matter how slim it is. Hey, as long as there's room for a little... impromptu pyrotechnics the situation is nowhere near irredeemable! He adores fire, particularly setting fires and fire types. He doesn't forms bonds easily, much less with Pokemon than people. While he does like Pokemon, for the most part, he would not feel guilty if he hurt a wild one or an unfamiliar one. Well, honestly, he doesn't really feel guilt. It leads to him being a bit of an asshole at times. He's never been able to hold a relationship for long, and most 'relationships' he's had were simple one night flings with girls who liked his music more than they liked him. That's okay, though, because he liked their breasts more than he liked them. [attr=class, apptitle]HISTORY Born in Floaroma to a strict father and careless mother, Brent spent his early years sneezing. Allergies. Really terrible and inconvenient allergies. Before long his father moved, taking both Brent and his brother with him. He can't remember much from this time, other than constantly moving for some reason or another. He hasn't seen his mother since. Despite his intelligence he found school to be a nightmare. Teachers would send back reports of how he wasn't “applying himself” or “was such a smart boy, if only he would do his work”. Father couldn't even claim it was because he spent too much time with his friends, considering he didn't really have any. Brent dabbled in bad behaviour, a teenage spree of rebellion involving such tragedies as a bottle of beer and stealing a bag of chips. His father was convinced that the boy was a bad egg. Brent found himself sent off to a 'drug rehabilitation program'. The place was ridiculously strict, like some sort of military boot camp combined with people convinced he was living a life of all-encompassing crime. He admitted to things he didn't do in the hopes that it would get him out sooner. It did, but the harsh punishments took a toll on him. Getting out spurred a whole new era of rebellion. He started to dye his hair, write dark music (a thing his father saw as a profound waste of time, as well as borderline noise pollution), as well as smoking regularly. By some insane stroke of luck he was 'discovered'. He got to record his first album and made just enough money to leave home. One night, out of complete impulse, he decided to kill someone. It was easy enough to get in his car, drive around, and find a prostitute because that's just who you kill. He got her in his car, drove her off to a rather remote location, then chickened out. He couldn't kill someone like her; it was too easy, too cliché. He took her back, thinking maybe he just wasn't cut out for this. When his music started to get popular people seemed to crowd to him. He was getting so much more attention from so many people. It was then, after a night of talking to a girl who was absolutely enamoured with his music - and took several pauses to tell him about how smart she was - that he actually committed his first murder. It wasn't easy, it wasn't hard, and he still has a souvenir from it. A skull, because she did value her head. He wrote songs about the murder, and his next one, and the few after that. To avoid suspicion he also wrote about other murders because, really, he doesn't believe the police are smart enough to see through that. Add in a few songs about absolute fiction and romance and he doubts he'll be so much as a suspect. Finally, when his songs started taking off a little more, he started touring. From Sinnoh to Hoenn to Anrui. Anrui turned out to be his favourite; the political tension was palpable, and it's not like the place was crime free. Now that he's got some time off he's decided to stay there, even though Plasma did require some bribing to let his Pokemon come with him. [attr=class, apptitle]MISC. He's starting out with Pokemon that were already in my possession. He'll be gettin' no starter. Has allergies. | [attr=class, apppic] ![]() [attr=class, appstats]Twenty One [attr=class, appstats]Male [attr=class, appstats]Neutral [attr=class, appstats]Musician |
