Long brown hair is usually pulled back into a thick braid that brushes against her butt. She doesn't like to spend too much time brushing it because she's very busy, so she just leaves it like that for days at a time. Her cheerful blue eyes are tainted with the slightest hint of sadness.
On her chest is a faded teal tanktop with a pair of purple winged hearts emblazoned on the back. She wears a few multi-colored plastic bracelets on both wrists, and a silver watch on the left one. A simple black belt holds up her jeans. They're a special pair of jeans that Professor Elm gave to her on her 18th birthday - a deep purple color with shimmering silver threads running through them.
Background:
When Kris was 7, her mother took her on a tour of Elm Laboratories. There, little Kris got to see all of his starter pokemon and lab equipment. While she was in the back with Elm, asking questions about a sick Cyndaquil, Trina vanished, never to be seen again. Elm called the police, but they were unable to locate the woman.
Because of this, Kris was allowed to stay in the lab, raised by Elm, his family and the lab assistants. She worked in the lab until she was 18, both out of gratitude for Professor Elm and genuine love for the pokemon there. When she turned 18, Elm gave her a ticket to Anrui and told her she'd meet fantastic pokemon there - that their colors were off and to send some back to his lab. It was the adventure of a lifetime, with the catch that she'd eventually have to return to Johto.
Personality:
Kris is knowledgeable about pokemon - every aspect of pokemon - from working in Elm's Lab for so many years. She's friendly and kind, quick to lend a helping hand if she feels you need it. Kris does her best to keep a calm attitude because she knows men don't like screaming girls. She feels it'll put her ahead in the game. However, it doesn't take much for her inner-fangirl to come charging out. Cute pokemon make her squeal.
She's determined, hard-working and intelligent. She's also a little insecure about her looks, and never thinks she's good enough both mentally and physically. Kris loves Professor Elm like a father, and is always after his approval. She's also in love with Lance, the dragon master.
