welcome to the anrui region, where training is illegal. the anrui region is a desolate and lonely place, a rather bustling region that has lived under the oppression of team plasma for many years. plasma took over and outlawed training of pokemon. raids occurred and people and pokemon were killed. back alley gym matches were held, but people remain terrified to overthrow plasma. who will you side with, plasma? or the resistance?

Ava Laboratories A shady warehouse building on the edge of Hyo City serves as a makeshift laboratory for newbie trainers. It's rickety and run down - the police are all over the place, always snooping around and trying to find the professor. Asking for directions usually is returned with hushes and then gestures. Rumours go that a man runs the lab and that the professor is missing - If so, where is Ava...?
In the Beginning - Hyo City (2 sub-boards) Journey into the city to stock up on Pokemon and supplies. Hyo City can be considered lonely, alleyways rife with crime. Wild Pokemon run amok in the streets, often street smart and fearful of Plasma, who conducts regular patrols around the area. Rumor has it there's an old man giving away starter packs in a back alley somewhere...
Underground Cavern - Journey to Katsu town A narrow passageway under Hyo city serves as the only safe exit. Ground, Poison and Dark pokemon reside here. There have even been sightings of Fire-types. Plasma however, aren't making things easy - They'll do whatever it takes to bog you down and hinder your journey. Stay on guard - Either Plasma or the ceiling giving way will get to you first. Perhaps you're safer going with a partner...?
Katsu Town (2 sub-boards) A small settlement of people and trainers defending themselves against Team Plasma. You won't find anybody patrolling the city, so it's safe to battle and train. That being said, Plasma members should stay on guard here - No point busting your cover and avoid being caught by Resistance members. Trainers have flocked to Katsu Town for the abandoned coal mine, which is teeming with wild Pokemon, and the gym leader that awaits you in this town.
Electric Paradise For a fleeting moment, it's as if life is perfect. A beautiful meadow full of fragrant flowers and cheerful electric Pokemon mask the turmoil that churns just below the surface... Electric paradise is an expanse of lush greenery that looks like it could extend for miles, but beware. This is a Team Plasma hotspot. Don't get caught. It is however, a haven for wild Pokemon, for trainers are fearful to step on Plasma territory.
The Descent There are cliffs circling Ansen Valley. You'll have to find your way down somehow. Rock and Flying type Pokemon have made their nests along the cliff's edge, making the place even harder to navigate. They tend to get riled up at the sight of people, so be careful of that. Beware of Team Plasma - they've set up stations along the border.
Ansen Valley (3 sub-boards) Ansen Valley is famous for it's technology. Come gambling in a casino, or shop in one of the many malls in the city of lights. As a result, the city is a rather shady place, and the alleyways are dangerous, filled with roughnecks and hookers. Keep your valuables close by. Alternatively, you could just forego the temptation to gamble and go straight to the gym. The gym leader seems awfully suspicious, though.
Resistance Watchtower Currently under the control of Team Plasma. The epic tower extends into the sky higher than you can even see. It seems to be recently built in an attempt of rebellion against Team Plasma, though the colours of the walls appear forlorn and faded upon closer inspection. Is something up?
From within it's walls, they keep an eye on Team Plasma members. Team Plasma members must enter to progress through the routes, whereas trainers are free to take a rest here and meet fellow Resistance members.
Team Plasma Building #1 (1 sub-board) A tidy building just outside town, looming in the distance. Whatever it is, it spells trouble. The building sticks out like a sore thumb, and a large 'P' emblem seems to be a sign that this is Plasma territory. Rumours go around that Team Plasma is cooking up all sorts of nasty things inside. You'd better have a look. Of course, Plasma will be lurking, so be on your toes and get ready to fight or take flight should you encounter one of the grunts. Alternatively, if you're part of Plasma, you'll be able to stick around safely, though keep your profile low.
Kain City (2 sub-boards) Kain City was once the capital of Anrui, but is now left in ruins. The Gym leader hides in an abandoned warehouse in the heart of the city. Team Plasma is very active - there's even a Pokemon zoo full of stolen Pokemon, a lasting reminder not to get caught. People don't live in the city any more - Many have moved out in hopes of finding a better home and a future, if any. The place also reeks of Plasma, so it's best to keep your Pokeballs out of sight and stay out of trouble.
Casulari River - North (1 sub-board) Just outside Kain City is the wild and unpredictable Casulari River. There are two sections - north and south, with Casulari Island in the middle. The water currents here are strong, and the Pokemon tend to be rather hostile, though there are the select few that have remained gentle, though sparse. The banks are covered with lush greenery. In the distance, you might see a small little island that appears uninhabited...
Team Plasma regularly patrols the area, both by air and on boats. Watch your step.
Casulari River - South South Casulari River is much rougher than the north side. The currents have also made the Pokemon here much more vicious and trained swimmers than the north. But more importantly, as you float downstream, you'll notice what seems to be a town floating on the water... Not something you see everyday, for sure. Odd...
Memento Town (2 sub-boards) As one approaches the faraway island by water transport, it may seem as though Memento Town is suspended in the water as if by magic. In reality, it's really just a large boat. Queer indeed. Most people even notice this place because of the fifth gym being located on this tiny floating town, a Water-type based gym run by Marco. It is here that you may enjoy a scuba trip, but don't stray too far.
Izumo Desert - East The weather heats up past Memento Town, and the once lush grass has turned into sand without you noticing. Sandstorms are known to brew commonly in this area. Just like Casulari, Izumo's desert is so vast that it is commonly split into two, East and West. The west is more densely populated by people than the east, but the east has more Pokemon.
Izumo Desert - West (1 sub-board) West Izumo is home to a large shrine to the Pokemon Regirock. It's said that Regirock appears to the trainers who leave an offering at the shrine. Vendors are selling items, in case you're out of offerings. What luck. You'll find less Pokemon here, but as you approach Kairo Town, the change should be relatively pleasant.
Kairo Town (2 sub-boards) Kairo town is a sparsely populated ghost town near the Regirock Shrine. The only reason it's even considered a town is because of the gym leader, Sisco. Beyond that, Kairo Town isn't the most friendly place to be sticking around, just shops to do some shopping if need be. Her gym is in an old saloon, reminiscent of the wild west.
Plains It's nothing but flatlands outside of Kairo Town. Sparse at first, grass finally makes it's reappearance here, eventually stretching passed your knees and going waist high. Pokemon lurk amidst these tall grasses, and they prove to be good hiding places for a typical resistance kid dodging Plasma members patrolling the area. Normal type pokemon call this place home.
Team Plasma Building #2 (1 sub-board) An ominous looking building is standing between you and Eve City, and it seems to be the only way through the place. You still have that key from before? Well, looks like you'll be needing that, and then another one, too...

Eve City (2 sub-boards) Eve City is one of the cleanest, purest cities in all of Anrui. The air is sweet and the grass is green. That was the case until Plasma raided the whole place. The entire town is run by Team Plasma. The gym leader, Roll, is stashed away in his home just outside town. Time to get searching.

The Telltale Highway A long stretch of pavement extends all the way to Lesca Island, via bridge. The tunnel surrounding the surface is rounded, with orange lights along the tunnel ceiling being the only way you can see. Team Plasma knows of trainers visiting the last gym leader, and will stop at nothing to crush them. It's the ultimate test of will!
Beautiful Lesca Island, home of the 8th and final gym leader. Unlike the rest, she does not hide from Team Plasma. They know she's here, but have been unable to stop her from battling challengers.
This is also the last chance to stock up on items before taking on Team Plasma.
Plasma Laboratories A rather sleek building that's mere distance from headquarters. It gives off an air of evil, and simple wanderers are warned not to trespass, should they face the wrath of Plasma. A man by the name of Jasper is in charge of the joint, as well as distributing Pokemon to grunts to enforce the law. Newcomers should come here to get registered, bearing in mind that Plasma is a lifelong commitment - Once you're in, you're never leaving. Moderator: Her Highness Epic Emi-Bear
Team Plasma's expansive lounge, filled with magazines, vending machines and other Plasma members itching to battle.

Plasma Grounds (1 sub-board) Plasma's grounds are generally covered in a wide expanse of green grass, shrouded by looming buildings. A large variety of Pokemon can be found in such a place, rarities of large ranges. It's here that Plasma runs free. Resistance members are strictly not allowed to enter the area should they wish to remain alive. Plasma grunts swarm the area, often taunted by the idea of finding an extremely rare Pokemon in the surroundings. Search hard enough and you'll find something.
